To establish the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement as an institute to systematically promote various project for cultivating intelligent robot industry and support development of related policies. KIRIA has been commissioned by the Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy (MOTIE) from 2011 to carry the project.
