The Straits Times: S’pore companies to get more help in adopting clean energy technologies
🌱 Earlier this month, AutomationSG took a pivotal step towards a sustainable future by joining the Sustainability Alliance which was officially launched on the second day of SMEICC. 🌱
Represented by our President, Terence Teo, AutomationSG joined seventeen other trade associations as founding members in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to solidify this commitment, with Dr Poh-Koon Koh, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, officiating as witness.
The Sustainability Alliance will focus on:
1. SME Assistance
2. Talent Development
3. Knowledge-Building
4. Advocacy
Through this alliance with other TACs, we aim to support businesses in adopting sustainable practices that are measurable, reportable, transparent, and holistic. Together, TACs can take collective action to implement essential cross-sectoral adaptation measures, seize new business opportunities, and strengthen their competitive edge during this transition.
